GlobalProtect protects your privacy while you're using the internet.
Once you open GlobalProtect for the first time, you'll be prompted to pick from one of many different servers around the world. You'll then connect to these servers as a VPN, meaning that all of your internet activity will then be routed through that server.
When you use a VPN, the person on the other side of your connection will never know where you live. This means you don't have to worry about people tracking you down just for making an account somewhere.
For those that don't need their entire mobile device protected, GlobalProtect offers App Level VPN in which you can choose which applications on your phone will use your VPN. You can also setup Remote Access VPN which allows you to use a VPN even if you aren't near your mobile device.
In all, GlobalProtect is a great application for those that want to secure their privacy.
